We provide all the services of a major publisher, but you retain 100% of the royalties and 100% of the selling profits. There are no "Publishing Packages" or "Levels" here; we simply offer a list of services that you may select from based on what you feel works best for you, your goals, and your budget.

Ted Ruybal, Owner / Designer
Ted Ruybal has been in advertising ten years and in publishing as a creative book designer and consultant for the last ten years. He has personally worked with authors and small publishers using his creative skills and knowledge to help others independently publish their books. With Wisdom House Books, Ted can now offer the services that all writers seek and personal guidance that few publishers can provide.
Clara Jackson, Owner / Public Relations
Clara Jackson received her BFA, Communications, Theatre, at Fordham University in New York City, NY and her MA, Arts Copyright Law at New York University, New York City, NY. She has been a curator, producer, and artist agent for over 20 years. Currently co-owner of Wisdom House Books as the Public Relations Director.
Will Walton received a BA in English at Valdosta State University, in Valdosta, GA, and an MFA in Poetry at North Carolina State University, in Raleigh, NC. He continues to live in the Triangle and write poetry, publishing his poems in literary magazines, when he can. Currently, he is Senior Editor at Wisdom House Books.
Megan graduated from Appalachian State University with her B.A. in English with concentrations in both creative writing and professional writing. She attended the Columbia Publishing Course and worked in the NYC publishing industry before deciding to return to North Carolina and pursue her graduate degree. Currently, Megan is working on her M.F.A. in Creative Writing Poetry at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her passions lie not only in verse, but also in children’s, middle-grade, and young adult literature of every genre.
Lindi Kistler is a Graphic Designer with a background in Fine Art and Art History. Her work is guided by a belief in using creative solutions to craft authentic designs that inform and persuade. Great design begins with a great story, at Wisdom House Books Lindi delights in working with authors to create compelling cover designs and elegant interior layouts to achieve expert results.
Lauren Summers is a graduate from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.A. in English and minor in German. During her time in undergrad, she worked as an editor on her university's newspaper. She currently resides in Greensboro, North Carolina where she writes poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, and publishes her work in literary magazines and anthologies. Her writing often deals with themes of love, loss, self-reflection, and hope. She plans to one day pursue her MFA in Creative Writing. She currently works in PR/Marketing and in Editorial at Wisdom House Books.
Miranda Evon is a graduate from Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A in Writing and concentrations in Creative Writing and Fashion Journalism. After four years of living in the deep south of Savannah, Georgia, she is back living in her native city of Raleigh, North Carolina. She is most content when reading memoirs, crafting short-form fiction, and baking the most delicious blueberry muffins.
Sarah received a BA in English and Women & Gender Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She plans to begin an M.A. program in Women & Gender Studies at Loyola University Chicago in the spring. Sarah is most passionate about 20th century women’s literature that teaches us about the lives of women. When she isn’t editing, Sarah enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, reading, and spending time outdoors with her dog.
