Helen Martin is a fashion model, television actress, spokeswoman, fashion consultant, stylist, outdoors woman, and published writer. She formerly served as Style Editor and feature writer for Today’s Dallas Woman magazine.
As a sought-after, high-fashion model, Helen has appeared in dozens of designer shows, including: Christian Dior, Balenciaga, James Galanos, Kritzia, Marc Bohan, Yves Saint Laurent, Armani, Bob Mackie, Oscar de la Renta, Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel, Donna Karan, Pauline Trigere, Todd Oldham, Fendi Furs, Valentino, and Givenchy. She was a model with modeling agencies A + in Chicago and Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas. She has been profiled in the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun Times, and was named one of three top photography models in Chicago Magazinewhere she was described as “add(ing) several hundred dollars to any price tag.”

For this unforgettable shoot, she was selected to model a James Galanos gown, symbolizing the “Best” for Marcus’ book called Quest for the Best. She was highlighted in the book, Texas Women (Taylor Publishing). Her fashion and commercial background included bookings with internationally known fashion photographer, Victor Skrebneski.
